I would like to extend a warm welcome to you and your child to Buffalo Hearing & Speech Center (BHSC) for the 2023-24 school year.  Our collective aim is to foster an environment where your child can thrive and ensure their maximum growth and development during their time at BHSC.

By fostering an open and collaborative environment, we can ensure that the children receive the best possible support and education.  To streamline our communication, we are implementing the use of the Remind App.  This platform will service as a link to keeping you informed about essential updates related to your child’s school experience throughout the year.  From notifications about scheduled breaks, health and safety protocols to emergency drill and weather-related closures, we will keep you in the loop.

Your child’s teacher will provide instructions on how to register for updates from the classroom and BHSC.  The app allows for direct access from your smartphone or computer.  Additionally, if English is not your primary language, the app offers interpretation services for the shared information.  I strongly encourage you to register for these updates and stay current with the classroom and BHSC’s announcements.

As we embark on this academic year together, I eagerly anticipate a year of growth, learning and achievement.  Please know that my door is always open, and I am here to address any inquiries that you may have.  Here is to a successful and rewarding school year in 2023-24.
