This workshop will discuss the definition and importance of advocacy. The presenter will model how to effectively advocate for improved access to evidenced-based Intervention for Autism emphasizing the DIRFloortime approach.  Advocacy with professional groups and governmental entities at all levels to secure greater funding for services will be emphasized. Working with Gatekeepers of the neurodivergent population who refer their student/clients for services will be covered.
