Social Worker

Reports to Manager – Family Support and Early Intervention

Major Responsibilities

  1. Provide support, consultation and training to Early Childhood Program staff on child-related issues
  2. Assess the needs of and provide support to the families and children in the ECP
  3. Collaborate with ECP Behavior Specialist and School Psychologist

Education and experience requirements

  1. Master’s Degree in Social Work
  2. NYS Licensure (LMSW/LCSW)
  3. Excellent knowledge of social work practice law
  4. Team Leadership skills
  5. Excellent organizational and communication skills
  6. Demonstrated sound judgment
  7. Excellent knowledge of early childhood development, family focused therapeutic interventions and community resources
